SACRAMENTO SUMMIT
The registration deadline for CalSPRA's annual Sacramento Summit is January 8, 2007 and the last day for special hotel rates is December 29, so get your registration in NOW! We want no CalSPRA member left behind, so make plans to join your colleagues at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in Downtown Sacramento January 17-19. This year's conference will include all the same great topics that have made past Sacramento Summit conferences so worthwhile. Just for new School PR practitioners this year, CalSPRA kicks off the Sacramento Summit on Wednesday afternoon from 4-6 p.m. with a free two-hour PR Boot Camp hosted by the CalSPRA Board .

Thursday morning will kick off with a presentation on new legislation and pending education issues coming from California’s legislative houses. The rest of the conference on Thursday and Friday will be jam-packed with valuable sessions to include the School Service’s translation of the Governor’s 2007 Budget Proposal, a briefing by a panel of California Department of Education representatives on hot issues coming from the State Department of Education in 2007, an interactive presentation by our favorite law expert Ann Murray on legal issues affecting public education, and a VIP tour of the Capitol.

This is a don't miss conference, so click on the link below and start the process of registering today! For those who can’t get from the office for the entire conference, CalSPRA offers a one-day only rate, as well as a full-conference rate.
