::Golden (Mentor) Nuggets

One of the awesome benefits to CalSPRA members is the combined experience and expertise of its members.  Fellow members are ready, willing and able to provide advice, support and information whenever asked via the ListServ.   However, sometimes being able to work through an issue without everyone knowing the situation would be preferred.  CalSPRA is responding to that need by forming a Mentor Committee.

The purpose of this committee is to provide a resource of trusted and experienced counselors/guides for new people joining us in the school public relations field.  The Mentor Committee will compile a list of CalSPRA members who are willing to share their years of experience with new people to the field.   

All of us have been grateful to a colleague who has helped us with advice or information through their experience in our careers.  If you would like to pay back the favor by mentoring new members to CalSPRA, please give me a call at 707-399-4407 or email me at nlionberger@solanocoe.k12.ca.us.  We will publish the mentor contact list later this year.
