Experience THE CITY

This year, NSPRA's Tuesday night social event literally begins on the 'streets of San Francisco' with a 90-minute guided trolley bus tour through the city. This is family friendly activity, at just $15 a ticket, is a great way for the everyone to see the sights and sounds of San Francisco including the Golden Gate Bridge, Chinatown, the waterfront and more. Choose from two departure times of 5:30 p.m. or 7:00 p.m.

The trolley tour will pick up and return you to the hotel where you'll have a choice of a night on your own, or, join the NSPRA after party at SLIDE just steps away from the St. Francis. Back in the prohibition era of San Francisco, 430 Mason Street was called The Cable Car Theatre below which was Cafe Dans. In actuality, Cafe Dans was not a restaurant, but a speakeasy. Only a savvy few could gain access by pushing a secret wall that led to a playground slide taking you below street level where one could indulge in games of chance and bootleg spirits. In an era of secret codes and handshakes, the speakeasy was a hidden subculture of nightlife. Open only to those 21 and over, from 8-11 p.m. Tuesday, SLIDES belongs to NSPRA members for an exclusive night of fun that only school PR professionals can have.

Slide - bar dance floor

Tickets for both the trolley tour and Slide after party are only $50, trolley tickets only are priced at $15, and Slide only tickets are $40. For NSPRA Chapters looking for a chance to host an exclusive Chapter social during the Slide after party, CalSPRA has a special offer for you. For details or to purchase tickets, click here.
