The Bay Area region encompasses the following counties: Sonoma, Napa, Marin, Contra Costa, Alameda, Santa Clara, San Mateo, and San Francisco.
REGIONAL CHAIR - BAY AREA
Kelly Wylie joined the CalSPRA extended board in 2021. She started her communications career over 30 years ago as a sports reporter. Upon graduating with a dual degree in English and Journalism (Public Relations) from the University of Nevada, Reno Kelly went on to become a media relations director in the realm of collegiate and professional sports. Now the Executive Director of Public Affairs at the Santa Clara County Office of Education, Kelly leads an award-winning media and communications team, marrying her years of public relations with her teaching and school administrator background. Kelly and her family are Bay Area residents and often spend their weekends traveling for lacrosse.
